| Intervention | The intervention is a face-to-face Internet training course. Class participants will get a basic introduction into how the Internet works, how to use search engines and directories, where to find interesting cancer resources including self-help groups, and how to evaluate the quality of information. The aim of the class is to guide participants to high quality information resources and online self-support groups on the web, teach critical appraisal skills, and to stimulate and motivate cancer patients to actively seek information and connect with peers via the Internet. |
