| Ethics approval(s) | Regional Ethics Board at Umea University, February 2008, ref: Dnr 08-017 |
| Health condition(s) or problem(s) studied | Nurse-parent communication in connection with neonatal back transport |
| Intervention | The intervention will consist of video-talks where the parents and the primary nurse at the community hospital will take part, before back transport from neonatal intensive care. The content of the talk will be information on care routines and the setting where the infant and the family will be cared for after the transfer. The parents will have the opportunity to ask anything and have a free conversation with the primary nurse. Each participant will receive at least one video talk with a duration of 15 minutes. The control group will not receive any video talks. |
