Key inclusion criteria20 septic and 20 non-septic patients, aged 65 years and over
Key exclusion criteriaPatients in coma, patients diagnosed with malignancy, patients diagnosed with severe medical or psychiatric illness, patients with bleeding disorders, patients taking micronutrient supplements, anticonvulsants or antifolate drugs.
