| Intervention | Patients will receive two sets of Essix retainers. They will be randomly allocated to one of two groups: 1. One group will visit the department every 3 months for review by the clinician. 2. The other group will instead receive a phone call from a dental nurse every 3 months to check on progress. All patients will visit the department at the end of 12 months retention for record collection and questionnaire. |
