| Intervention | Sample of 50 subjects will be randomly assigned to a control group of 25 and a treatment group of 25. A pre-test questionnaire will be completed by all 50 subjects. The treatment group will receive a safer injecting training session lasting one hour which will include routes of administration, overview of the cardiovascular system, health risk of injecting street drugs and preparation of drugs and injecting equipment. One month after the training session a repeat questionnaire on injecting behaviour will be completed by all 50 subjects. The sample will be generated through a snowball technique. |

Analysis will examine the change in magnitude in the variable of interest in each group between baseline and follow-up measurements. Impact analysis will be used to attribute causal influence to the safer injecting training. |

| Key inclusion criteria | T1. he sample group will be selected from clients who inject drugs and who are accessing treatment from the West Suffolk Drugs Service. 2. All clients participating to be over 18 years old and younger than 65 years old. |
