| Key inclusion criteria | 1. Patients presenting evidence of gag reflex 2. Willing to accept acupuncture 3. Treatment requires upper alignment dental impression |
| Key exclusion criteria | 1. Patients with normal gag reflex 2. Patients with known bleeding dyscrasias, but not including those who are anticoagulated 3. Patients with poor communication (language hearing difficulties) |
