Background and study aims
Discrimination is a widespread problem in many areas of society. However, the extent of discrimination in medicine has not yet been extensively studied. Therefore, the goal of the study is to conduct an extensive study to get a detailed picture of discrimination in the field of medicine to serve as a first basis to make medicine more inclusive.

Medical students, residents and physicians world-wide can participate.

What does the study involve?
The study involves completing a questionnaire investigating experienced discrimination in medical school and working as a doctor.
By answering the questions in this study participants can help to document experiences of discrimination in medical school and working as a doctor.
The study is conducted as an online survey. The study can be accessed from every computer with an internet connection.

What are the possible benefits and risks of participating?
No benefits. The risks include bringing back stressful memories about experienced discrimination.

InterventionA questionnaire discussing discrimination experienced by medical students and doctors will be conducted.

Participants taking part in the study will receive a link to the online survey. They can then click on the link and complete the online survey, which takes about 30 minutes to complete. The total duration of observation is limited to the online survey. There is no follow-up.
