Study hypothesis1. To compare the benefits for patients of Turkington & Kingdon's Normalizing Cognitive Behavioural Programme delivered on a sessional basis (one to one) with normal care
2. Delivered to individual mentally disordered offenders who have a case note diagnosis of psychosis

InterventionPatients agreeing to participate will be randomly assigned to one of two treatment conditions - Turkington & Kingdon's Normalizing Cognitive Behavioural Programme delivered on a sessional basis (one to one) or normal care.

Primary outcome measurePositive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANNS), IS, DAI, Beck Depression Inventory (BDI), Beck Anxiety Inventory (BAI), Beck Hopelessness Scale (BHS), Rosenberg Self-Esteem (RSE). Patients will be assessed on these measures at baseline and retested on all measures at the end of treatment phases.
